Pakistan defeated Canada to win their sixth Over 40s Cricket Global Cup in Karachi on Monday. At the National Stadium Karachi, the Green Shirts scored 312 runs batting first. In 45 overs, the visitors reached 234-7 chasing 313 runs. The 78-run triumph gave Pakistan their fifth straight win and continued their tournament unbeaten streak. On Sunday, they defeated West Indies by six wickets as they dominated. Pakistan reached West Indies’ 202-run mark in the 41st over with four wickets in hand. Rizwan Aslam scored 82 runs to lead Pakistan, and Amjad contributed 64 runs. West Indies responded by scoring 201 runs in 45 overs with 8 wickets.

Narsingh Devnarine scored 49 runs and Derry Balgobin 45. Abdul Qadir’s three wickets and Imran Ali’s one sealed Pakistan’s win. Pakistan continues its Over 40s Cricket Global Cup winning streak with this win. In their third match, Pakistan beat Australia by seven wickets. Their second match was a 248-run win over Nepal.

The host team scored 384 runs in 45 overs, while Nepal was bowled out for 134 runs in 36.3 overs, falling short of the mark. In the previous match, the Men in Green beat the USA by one wicket. Pakistani Tassavur Abbas was the match’s hero after some impressive play.
