Now she is all set to fight for the gold medal in the finals that will be held on Sunday, 8th of august, 2020 at 10.45 am. Great Britain’s Lauren Price will be fighting against Li Qian of China in the final bout.

Lauren Price is the pride of Great Britain. She is a champion of Boxing who has become the first Welsh female boxer who qualified for the Olympics by her mere presence in the Tokyo Olympic Games. Price Vows for Gold Medal
After qualifying for the final bout at Tokyo Olympics, Price stated,
“It’s nothing new to me going into a final. I’ve been here before, Wales, Europeans, it’s nothing new to me. It’s everyone’s dream to get to that Olympic final and I’ll do my best to bring back that gold.”
She further stated,
“Each fight gets harder and it doesn’t get harder than that today. We’re No 1 and No 2 in the world, we’ve met so many times.”
