Shan Masood, a left-handed hitter, was named captain of the Karachi Kings for the next Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. This came just a few days after he was named captain of the national team for Tests.
Shan Masood Named As Karachi Kings captain
Masood wasn’t always in the Kings. A trade with the Multan Sultans got them the first pick in the Diamond category, the second pick in the Silver category, and Faisal Akram, a left-arm wrist spinner from Multan. Karachi was picked fourth by the Sultans in the first Diamond round. In the ninth season, Masood will be in charge of the Kings. The Karachi-based team will be trying to win their second PSL title.
Recently, there have been some of the biggest deals. Players like Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah have changed teams in the strangest ways. That same season, Wasim was the Kings’ captain and Player of the Tournament. He was moved to Islamabad United for Ali.
It is important to note that the PCB previously shared a list of all the players that were kept by all six franchises. On that list, many big and important names were not kept by their franchises.
