PSL 9: Complete squads after flagship league’s draft

As cricket fans prepare for the ninth Pakistan Super League (PSL), franchises have completed their squads after the players’ draft on Wednesday. The event was held at Lahore’s National Cricket Academy (NCA) and attended by team owners, coaches, and PCB officials, including Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf.The teams will practice and play for four days starting February 12.

The tournament begins on February 17 in Lahore with defending champions Lahore Qalandars against Islamabad United. In Multan on February 18, Multan Sultans will play Karachi Kings. The first Karachi game is expected to be between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings on February 28. United will meet Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi on March 1. The tournament will also feature six double-headers, with 11 matches in Karachi, nine in Lahore and Rawalpindi, and five in Multan. Three playoff matches and the final will be played in Karachi on March 17.
