New Zealand Cricket Board assures NZ tour of Pakistan next year. The New Zealand Board contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board, in which the Kiwi Board informed the PCB officials that their team would come to Pakistan next year to play ODI and T20 International series. Recently, New Zealand Cricket Board chief executive David White confirmed that talks were underway with the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the tour.

Earlier, the New Zealand cricket team had abruptly postponed the series this year. The New Zealand Cricket Board had called for the series at Neutral Avenue. PCB was holding on for the home series.  It should be noted that on September 17, the New Zealand cricket team had announced to cancel the tour of Pakistan. The decision was made 2 hours before the match due to security concerns.

It may be recalled that the first match of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The match was scheduled to start at 2.30 pm today at the Rawalpindi Stadium. Pakistan was ready to host the New Zealand team on its soil after 18 years.
