Nepal broke all kinds of records on Wednesday in the men’s T20 match at the 19th Asian Games when they scored 314 runs and the fastest century and fifty.

Nepal broke the world record for most runs scored in a Twenty20 match while still having seven wickets in hand. Kushal Malla from Nepal hit a hundred in just 34 balls. By hitting 137 off 50 balls, he stayed unbeaten. At the same time, Dipendra Singh Airee hit 50 off of only nine balls.

Rohit Paudel, the captain, got 61 runs off of 27 balls. They set a record as well by beating Mongolia by a huge 273 runs in the first match. They were bowled out for only 41 runs in the 14th over of the game. Before Nepal, the Czech Republic was the country that had won by the most points. They were able to do this by beating Turkey by 257 runs in a match in 2019.

Afghanistan had just set a new record for most runs scored in a T20 match. In a T20 match against Ireland in February 2019, the Afghan team made a huge 278 runs and lost three wickets.
