Pitcher-keeper batsman Azam Khan and fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr., on the other hand, are two good candidates to join the Gladiators for the PSL 2024.

Now that the Pick Order for the Player Draft is set, getting ready for PSL 9 is getting more serious. They will be the first team to pick in the PSL 024 Player Draft. The second and third picks will go to Karachi Kings and Islamabad United, who have won the league twice. Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, who came in second place last season, will make the fourth and fifth picks, respectively. Lahore Qalandars, who won both of the last two tournaments, will make the sixth pick to end the first round.

In the Platinum category, the order of the selections for the first round is based on the opposite order of the previous season’s results. To make the Pick Order more fair, the first pick in the first round of each group will go to a different franchise. Thus, the first Platinum pick goes to the Quetta Gladiators. The first Diamond pick goes to the Karachi Kings. So, first Gold pick goes to Peshawar Zalmi. The first Silver pick goes to Multan Sultans. The first Emerging pick goes to Islamabad United. And the first Supplementary pick goes to Lahore Qalandars.

For foreign players, the Pakistan Cricket Board has already opened the application window. The main event is likely to happen between February 8 and March 24, 2024.
