The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated Sunday that each player will receive $100,000 if the squad wins the T20 World Cup 2024 in June. The PCB chairman spoke during a Pakistan cricket team luncheon at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium before their tours of Ireland and England.

The Green Shirts will leave for Dublin, Ireland on May 7 after a three-day training camp in Lahore, which begins tomorrow. After facing Ireland in a three-match T20I series from May 10 to 14, the Men in Green will head to England for a four-match series starting May 22.
Earlier this week, the board announced an 18-person tour squad. It will be cut to 15 players for the mega-event after the first T20I against England on May 22 to match the ICC’s May 24 team announcement deadline.
In his two-hour meeting with the team and authorities, Naqvi advised the national team to play without pressure and compete fiercely.
“Ignore everyone. He said, “Play only for Pakistan.”
“All players are united […] demonstrate teamwork and win, god willing.
“The nation has a lot of expectations from you […] we hope that you will raise the Pakistani flag this time,” he said.
The PCB chief also promised to prioritize player issues. The chairman also gave wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan and bowler Naseem Shah unique jerseys for scoring 3,000 runs and taking 100 wickets in T20.
