India easily beat their neighbors Bangladesh by seven wickets in Pune on Thursday, giving them their fourth straight win in the ICC World Cup 2023. Also, India kept their perfect record in the 50-overs home World Cup with a centuries from Virat Kohli.

An India team that came into the game having won three straight games made it even harder for Bangladesh, whose captain Shakib Al Hasan was out with a left quad injury. Even though Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan put together a 93-run opening stand, Bangladesh could not build on it and scored 256-8 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
India did a great job with their bowling, especially considering they missed one bowler early on because Hardik Pandya hurt his ankle in the first over. India quickly answered with skipper Rohit Sharma in charge. Virat Kohli finished with an unbeaten 103, hitting a six to reach 100 and secure India’s win with 51 balls to spare.
