‘Worst cringe’: ICC World Cup 2023 anthem disappoints cricket fans
Cricket fans were excited to hear the official theme for the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2023, but they are not happy with the song.
The song “Dil Jashn Bole” was released by ICC on Wednesday (today). It features the well-known Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. It was written by the well-known Indian music director Pritam Chakraborty. As teams from all over the world compete for the coveted ICC Cricket World Cup trophy, the release of the song is expected to bring cricket fans together across borders and stoke their passion for the sport.
Both Indian and Pakistani cricket fans started making memes when they didn’t like the official song. They also said it was like the World Cup song “De Ghumake” from 2011.
