After resuming international cricket, Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim will join Usman Khan and 26 other Pakistani players at Kakul for a physical fitness camp before the T20 World Cup in June. The PCB announced that 29 players will attend the Abbottabad fitness camp with the Pakistan Army from March 26 (Tuesday) until April 8.

The camp, where players report today, “is deliberately geared to prepare players for the upcoming series and competitions, including the home and away T20I series against New Zealand, Ireland, and England.
“The camp will focus on team building and aims to enhance the physical and mental strength of the players, ensuring they are in the best condition to face the challenges ahead,” the board stated in a release.
In the camp, qualified trainers and coaches will oversee the players’ training to improve their fitness, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and field performance. One day earlier, the board announced a seven-member national selection committee reconstruction.
The selection committee includes former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq, and Asad Shafiq, a head coach, captain, and analyst.
