Shaheen Shah Afridi, a fast bowler, is set to miss the first two games of the five-game T20I series against New Zealand. Based on what they said, the left-arm spinner wanted to get his bowling speed up after the training session in Kakul. So, it’s not certain that he will play in the first matches.
They also said Afridi didn’t want to take any chances before the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024, which is coming up soon. The former captain of the T20 team is set to play one game in Rawalpindi and two games in Lahore.
There will be five T20Is between Pakistan and New Zealand. The first one will be played in Rawalpindi on Thursday, April 18. The first three games of the series will be played in Rawalpindi. The last two games will be played in Lahore.
