Sania shared a lot of pictures of herself traveling, eating, and going to events right after she announced that she and former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik were no longer together. The couple’s split wasn’t official until Malik and his new wife, Sana Javed, announced their marriage in January. Fans and followers were shocked by their sudden union.

However, Sana changed her Instagram bio to read “Sana Shoaib Malik.” In a post made after the shocking news, tennis star Mirza’s sister revealed that her sister and Malik are divorced and said that they have been divorced for a few months.
“At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy,” Sania’s sister said.
