Quetta Gladiators were put in to bat after Peshawar Zalmi won the toss. Jason Roy hit 75 runs off of 48 balls, and Saud hit 74 runs off of 47 balls. Together, they hit 21 boundaries, including six sixes.

The Gladiators did have some bad luck, though. Captain Rilee Rossouw was bowled by Muhammad Zeeshan for 14 runs off of 7 balls, and Sherfane Rutherford (20) was caught out by Salman Irshad’s throw.

Most of Zalmi’s bowling success came from Salman Irshad, who took three wickets in four overs and gave up 38 runs. It was Aamer Jamal who cost the most. He gave up 29 runs in just two overs, with an average of 14.50. Dan Mousely got an average of 7.33 runs in three overs, but he didn’t get any catches. At the same time, Luke Wood and Zeeshan each got one wicket.
