The superb century by Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam was the high point of the team’s innings. Azam’s century came in just 59 balls, demonstrating his remarkable batting abilities and considerably adding to his team’s total. Notably, Babar Azam’s century makes him only the second batsman to reach this milestone in PSL 9.
Captain Babar Azam’s outstanding innings saw him hit 111 runs off 63 balls, anchoring Peshawar Zalmi’s batting lineup with finesse. Saeem Ayub contributed 38 runs, Paul Walter 19 runs, and Ruomin Powell 8 runs while remaining not out. On the bowling front, Islamabad United’s Shadab Khan made an impact by collecting two key wickets, while Naseem Shah and Salman Agha each got one wicket to limit Peshawar Zalmi’s batting attack.
