With 7 points, Zalmi is in third place, and Islamabad is in fourth place with 5 points. Lahore Qalandars’ chances of qualifying would not be greatly affected by either team’s win. On the other hand, United’s win is likely to end the reigning champions’ chances of playing the eliminators.If Peshawar beats Islamabad, they will have 9 points, the same number as Quetta Gladiators and in third place. They will play Multan Sultans in their next game. Sultans have already made it to the play-offs.
If they beat Mohammad Rizwan’s troops, they would be sure to make it to the eliminators.But if Islamabad beat Babar Azam’s team, they would have 7 points, the same as Zalmi. Lahore would have a hard time with this because Shadab Khan’s team would only need one win to make the playoffs.
