The PCB said that Lahore and Rawalpindi will host the games. On April 18, 20, and 21, the Kiwis will play three T20Is at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. They will arrive in Islamabad on April 14. Following this, both teams will go to Lahore, where they will play the last two T20Is of the series on April 25 and 27.
PCB schedules New Zealand tour
The cricket board said that all five games in the T20I series will start at 7pm. The article also said that fans will be able to buy the tickets to see their favourite players play. The Black Caps will be going to Pakistan for the third time in 17 months during this trip. In the past, they went to Pakistan in December and January 2023 for the ICC Men’s Championship and played in two Tests and three ODIs. In April of that same year, they went to Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi to play 10 white-ball matches.
Speaking on the occasion, PCB’s Director International Cricket Usman Wahla said the visit was a testament to the unwavering camaraderie between the PCB and New Zealand Cricket (NZC).
“This tour symbolises the deep-rooted ties and mutual respect that define the relationship between our two cricketing nations.
“Our avid cricket fans and the people of Pakistan will welcome the New Zealand team again and we hope to have yet another competitive series which is a key part of our buildup to this year’s ICC T20 World Cup.”
