The Women’s National Selection Committee, directed by Saleem Jaffar, has announced a 15-woman squad. So, Pakistan Women U19 skipper Mahnoor Aftab picked for Bangladesh tour. It is for the next T20 tri-series with Sri Lanka Women U19 and Bangladesh Women U19. So, it will be contested in Cox’s Bazar from January 24 to February 2.

The competition will be contested in a double round-robin format, followed by a final. Mahnoor Aftab, an offspinner, has been named captain for the event. Also, Laiba Nasir, a batting all-rounder, has been appointed as her deputy.
So, six players, including Mahnoor and Laiba, represented Pakistan at the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa the year before. Plus, the other players who represented Pakistan in the World Cup were Anosha Nasir, Eyman Fatima, Rida Aslam, and Zaib-un-Nisa.
Before the roster was finalized, 23 players participated in a probable camp to prepare and train for the tri-series. Thus, the Women’s National Selection Committee observed the camp. as it took place from January 10 to 18 at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi.
