As the world gets ready for tomorrow’s (Saturday) most-anticipated cricket match, Pakistan vs. India, the national team has named the playing XI for the second Asia Cup 2023 match, which will take place at the Pakelle Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Pakistan will play India as first match in Asia Cup 2023
Pakistan will play India with the same team that played against Nepal in the first Asia Cup match on Wednesday in Multan, which the home team won by a large margin. After the first match, the national team got to Kandy on Thursday. Friday, Pakistan captain Babar Azam told a press conference there that the Men in Green have a home advantage against India in Sri Lanka because they have played a lot of cricket there lately.
Most of the cricket Pakistan has played in the last two months has been in the island country of Sri Lanka. This means they are familiar with the weather there. In Sri Lanka, they played a Test series against the home team and then an ODI series against Afghanistan. Some of their players also took part in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
