Pakistan revealed who will play in their Super 4 match against Sri Lanka on Wednesday. The Green Shirts have changed their line-up five times. Mohammad Wasim Jnr and Zaman Khan will be on the team for tomorrow’s must-win game against Sri Lanka, according to a post on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) X account, which used to be called Twitter.

Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, who got hurt in their last game against India, have been replaced by this pair. Also, the Men in Green have changed their batting order. Mohammad Haris has replaced Fakhar Zaman, who was not doing well. Also, Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Nawaz are in the starting XI, while Salman Ali Agha and Faheem Ashraf are getting the day off for tomorrow’s match.

This is bad news for Pakistan because three players, Salman Ali Agha, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf, were hurt during the game against India. Pakistan needed backup, so they called Zaman Khan and Shahnawaz Dahani. This morning, Zaman got to Colombo and joined the team.

He will first play for his country in the 50-over event. Dahani, on the other hand, will leave tonight for Colombo and get there tomorrow. The Men in Green have to win their match against Sri Lanka because they lost to India by 228 runs, and their net run rate (NRR) is now -1.892%. On September 14, the Green Shirts and the Lankan Tigers will play a must-win match. Whoever wins will move on to the final.

With four points in the Super Four stage, India has ensured it will be in the final. Sri Lanka and Pakistan, on the other hand, each have two points and are not going to the final. Sri Lanka’s NRR, on the other hand, is -0.2, which means that if the match is rained out, the islanders will move on to the finals because of their NRR.
