Pakistan’s best fast bowler, Naseem Shah, hurt his shoulder during a match against Bangladesh on Wednesday when he slipped while fielding near the line. The bowler had to leave the pitch and go to the changing room to be checked out by the team’s medical staff. But the young fast bowler got better quickly and was back on the pitch after six over. In the first Super 4 match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Bangladesh won the toss for pak vs ban match and chose to bat first against the home team.

Pakistan was in first place in Group A with three points and a net run rate of 4.76 when they moved on to the Super 4 phase. Their opponents today were in second place in Group B with two points.
