Ali Majid Shah has played 17 T20s and taken 16 wickets, with his best bowling stats of 3/27. Notably, the right-arm pacer was bowling in the nets but did not gain the green signal from the medical team, so he was ruled out of the entire event.

Ihsanullah was instrumental in the Sultans’ journey to the final of last year’s edition, finishing as the tournament’s second-highest wicket-taker with 22 wickets in 13 matches. The Sultans, on the other hand, look unconcerned about his absence, sitting atop the PSL 9 standings with eight points from five games.

However, the 2021 winners will face a hard push from the Quetta Gladiators, who are second with six points from four matches. Notably, the Sultans halted the Gladiators’ winning streak on Sunday, ensuring their domination at the top of the standings. Mohammad Rizwan and Reeza Hendricks’ half-centuries helped the home team score a challenging 180/4.
