For the second time in the event, the Sultans have won. In the third game, they beat the Karachi Kings by 55 runs. With a 5 wicket win, Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United in the 9th PSL season. Once Dawid Malan was out, Rizwan got off to a good start in his chase for 145 runs. The 31-year-old hit six fours and two sixes in his quick 43 off 33 balls.

Reeza Hendricks of South Africa kept up his great form by scoring 58 runs off of 46 balls, which was very important. All-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed led Pakistan to win on the fifth ball of the 20th over, when he took charge of the chase. And Dawid Willey added seven runs off of six balls. He scored 18* off of 17 balls.

For Islamabad United, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, and Tymal Mills all took a run out. Earlier, Mohammad Ali and Abbas Afridi did a great job by holding Islamabad United to 144 runs with three wickets each.

Agha Salman and Jordan Cox worked hard together, coming back from early losses to score 68 runs in 48 balls. Cox made a big contribution with 41 off 28 balls, which included two fours and two sixes before Usama Mir caught him lbw while he was trying to switch hit.

Salman hit the most runs with 52 off of 43 balls, which included three fours and two sixes. Mohammad Ali threw the last over and got the last three wickets. Naseem Shah was run out on the last ball, ending Islamabad United’s innings at 144. At the end, Afridi had bowled 329 balls, Ali had bowled 19 balls, and Mir had taken two wickets.
