The unbeaten Multan Sultans will start as favourites against the lowly-rated Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 on Friday night. Multan will have the benefit of playing at home and being full of confidence after three consecutive triumphs in the current edition.
Multan boys appear to be favourites over Peshawar Zalmi in PSL game
The Peshawar lads’ confidence may have plummeted after being thoroughly defeated by the Karachi Kings in their most recent match. Except for skipper Babar Azam, who made 72 runs off 51 balls, no other batsman could help him reach a high total.
Meanwhile, the strip in Multan Cricket Stadium this season seemed to be helping bowlers as there have been no big score recorded so far. That could be the reason that the skipper who wins toss, opts to put opponent in to bat and prefer run chase.
