Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, met with Pakistani players in the HBL PSL 9 at a hotel in Islamabad. The chairman spoke to the players and praised how well they did while wearing national colours. Salman Naseer, COO of PCB, Wahab Riaz, Chief Selector, and other PCB leaders were also there. Chairman told the players, “Our goal as a team is to win, and to do that, we must work together.”
We are determined to make our work attitude more honourable. The top players and entertainers will have plenty of chances to show what they can do. That’s why you’re all here: you’re all good enough. The board wants to put more money and time into our players. “No matter what happens, I want you to bring a fighting spirit to the way you play.”
People in Pakistan really like cricket, and they will definitely back your team if you fight on the pitch. We’ll have to give up some things for the good cause, but we’re excited about the tasks that are coming up in our cricket schedule. Aside from that, the PCB also wants to improve some of the country’s most important sites.
The chairman talked about how the team is getting ready for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. “We have a home series against New Zealand, then away series against Ireland and England, and then we leave for the USA for the mega event,” he said. Before this tough foreign season, the board has planned a strength and conditioning camp.
