United has lost all five games they’ve played and has been criticized for technical mistakes that have cost them games. United had a hard time keeping Karachi Kings in check during their latest game, which let them score 164 runs easily on a slow pitch. Misbah said on a local sports station that important bowlers like skipper Shadab Khan and Agha Salman didn’t bowl all of their overs. And that inexperienced bowlers were put in charge of important moments, which led to costly overs.
“The spinners are not bowling their overs completely on a pitch where it is assisting them,” Misbah stated. Misbah stressed how important it was to make good use of resources, especially when the game was on the line. He made it clear that these kinds of choices could hurt Islamabad United’s performance in important games. “In the bowling department, they are not making good use of their resources.”
They do not understand where or how to use Naseem. “They gave the last ball to a young man named Husain Shah, which went for a lot,” he said. In addition, Misbah said that even though their batsmen could make up for bad bowling, these tactics mistakes could hurt Islamabad United in important games.
“At one stage, 140 was looking par but still they managed to score 165 which was covered by their openers in batting. But these things can haunt Islamabad United in important matches,” he said. That being said, Colin Munro and Alex Hales, who batted first, were very important to Islamabad’s win over Karachi. They destroyed Karachi’s bowling attack. They scored 108 runs off of just 69 balls together for the first wicket, which was a great combination.
