Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in the 22nd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Wednesday to qualify for playoffs. So, Karachi Kings beat Quetta Gladiators to stay in playoffs.

After three straight losses, Shan Masood’s team bowled first and restricted Quetta to 118, chasing it down in the 16th over.

Ali once again removed Nafay (17) in the same over, causing Quetta Gladiators to collapse after the double-wicket loss. After this, captain Rilee Rossouw played a cautious 10 runs from 16 balls, while Akeal Hosein’s fast 14-run cameo in 13 balls with a six.

Karachi Kings’ tight bowling left Quetta Gladiators at 118 in the penultimate over, having been 65-1. No other batsman could survive. Hasan Ali led Karachi Kings’ bowling assault with 4-15, while Muzarabani and Zahid Mahmood each took two wickets.
