Fast bowler for the Indian cricket team Jasprit Bumrah left Sri Lanka unexpectedly while the Asia Cup 2023 was going on. On Monday, he said he had just been given his first child. There were rumors a day earlier that Bumrah had left the Indian team in Sri Lanka and gone to India right away for some reason that was not known.

On the Twitter site, Bumrah posted a picture of his and his wife Sanjana Ganesan’s hands as well as the hands of their new baby boy. Indian news sources say that Bumrah has told the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that he will return to Sri Lanka as soon as possible to join the Indian team. The star pacer returned after missing some events since September 2022 because of a back injury. In the Asia Cup 2023 game, India is playing Nepal today.
“Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world,” the Indian pacer announced in a post on X — formally known as Twitter.
“We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it,” he added.
