India defeated Namibia by 9 wickets in the final match of the 42nd and Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup. In the last match of the Super 12 stage played in Dubai, Namibia batted first and scored 132 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs in reply to which Bhat completed the required target at a loss of one wicket in 15.1 overs.

In the match being played in Dubai, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and invited Namibia to bat. Both the teams are already out of the semi-finals. For India, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma scored half-centuries. The only batsman to be dismissed was Rohit who scored 56 while KL Rahul (54) and Surya Kumar Yadav (25) remained unbeaten.
Earlier, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and invited Namibia to bat first. Namibia’s Stephen Bard and Michael van Langen gave the team a solid start, with Stephen scoring 21 and Michael 14. Craig Williams returned to the pavilion without opening an account, while captain Gerhard Erasmus’ innings were limited to 12 runs. From Group 1, England, and Australia, while from Group 2, Pakistan and New Zealand have made it to the semi-finals.
