In the third over of Quetta Gladiators’ batting, Iftikhar used foul language towards the dismissed batter. – Iftikhar Ahmed, all-rounder for Multan Sultan, was fined 5% of his match money for using foul language during the match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday. Iftikhar violated the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Code of Conduct Level 1 according to PCB.

The player, Iftikhar breached Article 2.5 of the PSL Code of Conduct for “using language, actions or gestures. It disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a match”. In the third over of Quetta Gladiators’ batting, Iftikhar used foul language towards the dismissed batter. The PCB stated in a news release that Iftikhar pleaded guilty and accepted match referee Ali Naqvi’s punishment, eliminating the need for a hearing.

On-field umpires Rashid Riaz and Richard Illingworth brought the charge. Sikandar Raza of Lahore Qalandars was punished on Monday for disobeying an umpire. For a Level 1 PSL code of conduct violation, the Zimbabwe all-rounder was fined 10% of his match money. It happened Sunday night during the Lahore Qalandars vs. Quetta Gladiators game at National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Islamabad United pacer Naseem Shah was fined 10% of match money by the PCB. The sanction was for a level 1 violation of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel during the Sunday match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Thus, after Multan Sultans’ innings, Naseem kicked the stumps.
