The Lahore Qalandars will be led by Shaheen Afridi, and Islamabad United will be led by Shadab Khan. Islamabad United has won 9 of the 17 times these two teams have played each other in the past. However, Lahore Qalandars have been in charge since 2021, winning all five games against Islamabad United.
Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi are the four cities that will hold the PSL 9. On March 18, the big show will take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Thus, from February 17 to February 27, 14 games will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium and the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The second part will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi and the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. So, from February 28 to March 12, 16 games will be played there. After that, the playoffs will all happen in Karachi.
So, it is planned that teams like the Kings, Qalandars, Sultans, and United will play five games at home. Thus, Pindi Cricket Stadium will host four games for Peshawar Zalmi. The Quetta Gladiators have a unique schedule. They play three games in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, and on February 25, they play the home team, the Sultans, at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
