Castro said that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has no plans to stop seeking fame, as he said he would do the same thing again in 2024. Ronaldo won the award by doing better than his competitors Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, and Erling Haaland, which was a personal achievement and also helped his team win. Kane and Mbappe are only two goals behind the Al Nassr forward, having scored 52 goals between them in 2023.

Haaland, on the other hand, got 50 goals this year, making him the only player who could have beaten Ronaldo. He currently holds the record for most goals scored in a soccer game (873), and he is also in the running for Best Men’s Player, Best Middle East Player, and Fans’ Favourite Player at the 14th Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.
