The Benaud-Qadir Trophy, a three-Test series in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in December 2023 to January 2024, preceded the Green Shirts’ journey to Australia by 11 months. The announcement comes as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) seeks a new head coach after Grant Bradburn left for the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in November 2023.

The board also established a reorganized national selection committee with former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq, and Asad Shafiq last week. The seven-member group includes the unappointed head coach, captain, and analyst.
