Babar Azam became the first batter in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history to achieve three thousand runs, adding another record to the list of Peshawar Zalmi’s impressive accomplishments. The right-handed batsman Azam broke a major record when he became the first player in PSL history to score three thousand runs, more than any other player up to that point.
Babar Azam sets new PSL records
Azam, captain of Peshawar Zalmi, became the first batter in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to score 3,000 runs. This was another record.
Azam, a right-handed batter, reached a big goal by becoming the first player in the PSL to score 3000 runs. He beat all other players who had scored 2500 runs before him. On Sunday, in the second game of the ninth season of the PSL at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, he did this.
Even though they had to score 207 runs to beat the goal, Azam showed how good he was by getting to fifty in just 29 balls. Even though Zalmi played very well and scored 68 runs, they were not able to catch up, so Azam’s great knock was for nothing.
The amazing thing that Azam did happened over 80 games, during which he scored 3004 runs at an impressive average of 44.83. His record, which includes 29 half-centuries and a century, shows how good he is at hitting the ball.
