The leader of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam hits 500 runs in the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Qualifier 1 at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena. The 29-year-old got to 500 runs for the third time in the same PSL season. He got 554 runs in the 2021 game and 522 runs in the 2023 game.Just Mohammad Rizwan had scored 500 or more in three PSL games. In 2021, the leader of the Multan Sultans scored 500 runs, then 546 runs in 2022, and 550 runs in 2023.

Fakhar Zaman, a batter for the Lahore Qalandars, has scored the most runs in a single PSL season. In 2022, the left-handed hitter scored 588 runs to do that. Keep in mind that the Qualifier 1 match between Zalmi and Sultans is still going on. Zalmi is going to bat first after Babar Azam won the toss.
