Azam said that his team was about 20 runs short of the required score when they batted first after the game.
“We got off to a good start, but fell behind in the middle overs.” “I thought 160–170 was a good score, but we couldn’t finish well,” Azam said after the game. Azam did say, though, that things would have been different if he had stayed on the field until the end of the game.
“They bowled well, so I tried to bring up the score, but I was out early.” “Maybe things would have been different if I had stayed there,” he said. It’s important to note that Multan Sultans beat Peshawar Zalmi by seven wickets on Thursday to make it to the PSL 2024 final. The team led by Mohammad Rizwan has made it to the PSL final for the fourth year in a row. On March 16, Azam’s Zalmi will have another chance to make it to the final. They will play either Islamabad United or Quetta Gladiators, who are playing today in the qualifier.
