Adriana Brownlee is youngest to climb nine peaks
On Wednesday, a 23-year-old British woman named Adriana Brownlee was the youngest person to reach the top of Pakistan’s 8051-meter Broad Peak. Pakistan’s Alpine Club confirmed that the 21-year-old climber reached the top of the world’s 12th-highest mountain on Wednesday morning. This climber had already climbed Nanga Parbat earlier this month. This was her ninth time climbing an 8000-meter peak. Thus, she did it at a young age.
Shehroze Kashif is a Pakistani mountain climber who is one year younger than Adriana. His goal is to reach the top of both G-I and G-II. Adriana wants to be the youngest person to climb all 14 mountains in the world that are higher than 8,000 feet. Mingma David Gyabu, also known as Mingma G, is from Nepal. He climbed all 14 of the world’s highest peaks in 30 years and 166 days, which is the fastest time ever. As well as Everest, Shehroze has summited K2, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna 1, and Nanga Parbat.
Adriana has reached the top of all of these mountains and more. After Adriana gets back to basecamp, she plans to try to reach the top of K2 the following week, with July 28 as her goal date. Benjamin Vedrines, a French mountain climber, may have climbed Broad Peak faster than anyone else. People say that Vedrines climbed Broad Peak for seven hours before paragliding all the way back to basecamp. If these things are true, then this is the fastest way to get to Broad Peak. Eisha Sajid, a young Pakistani climber with a lot of promise, has also reached the top of Broad Peak’s C2. She will soon move to C3, where she will work with her mentor, Sajid Sadpara. Samina Baig from Pakistan has reached camp four on K2, while Naila Kiani has only reached camp three.
