Krunal Pandya Tests Positive For Covid In Sri Lanka | T20I Postponed
Krunal Pandya is one of the best players on the Indian cricket team. Also, he is an all-rounder when it comes to the field of cricket. Sadly, a piece of news broke out that he has tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the information on Twitter about the 2nd T20I being postponed. Thus, this resulted in the cancellation of Sri Lanka vs. India Cricket match for today.
All the team members of the Indian squad are undergoing RT-PCR tests to make sure regarding the outbreak of the virus in others. This is sad news for all the Indians that Krunal Pandya will not be playing for his India Team in the 2nd T20I. The team may face some consequences due to his absence. Krunal Pandya has been isolated, and treatment for COVID-19 is being given to him. We all wish for his quick recovery.
Match Fixture Revived
As Sri Lanka vs. India, 2nd T20I postponed by a day, it is reported as the match that was scheduled today will be played on July 28, 2021. Despite the fact, the third and final T20I will be played on July 29 as scheduled. All the Sri Lankans and Indians have crossed their fingers for the upcoming match. Besides, according to the calculations, India still holds a 73% winning probability of winning the game against Sri Lanka.
