Bayern Munich has made their last offer for Harry Kane and wants Tottenham to decide quickly. If Spurs don’t answer quickly, the German winners are ready to move on and look at other teams. Bayern’s deal for the 30-year-old player is worth more than €100m (£86.24m) when add-ons are considered. As of Friday night, Tottenham had not said anything about the deal.
Bayern Munich make the last offer for Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane.
Kane wants to know what will happen to him before Tottenham’s first game of the new Premier League season on August 13 at Brentford. Kane’s contract ends next summer, and Spurs could lose a top goalscorer for free next summer. Possibly to a Premier League rival if they keep him past the current transfer window.
He doesn’t want to sign a new deal with Tottenham this summer, and he would instead go to Bayern than any of the other clubs that want him, including French winners Paris Saint-Germain. Kane could make around £11 million net each year through a five-year deal.
This will be broken down into the basic salary, the amount of games played, and bonuses. The player with the most goals for Tottenham has also not ruled out returning to the Premier League in the future. Last season, Kane got 30 goals in the Premier League, but it was a disappointing year for Spurs.
They finished eighth, which meant they didn’t make it to Europe, and they still don’t have a trophy since 2008. Kane has scored 280 goals for Tottenham in 435 games. He got his first goal for the team in December 2011. He has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games, and he needs 48 more goals to pass Alan Shearer as the league’s all-time top scorer.
