When Chacha Bashir, a huge Pakistan cricket fan, tried to wave the national flag at the Hyderabad airport to greet the Men in Green from the neighboring country, the Indian police stopped him. As you may know, Pakistan and India have been bitter enemies ever since they got their freedom from Britain in 1947. There have been problems between the two countries that have hurt the sport as well as other things. Bashir was one of many people who were at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to meet the team. That being said, the situation with the cops made him sad and angry because his eagerness to welcome the cricket stars was met with resistance. Bashir was excited to bring the Pakistani flag to show his love and support for the team. He was shocked when security guards came up to him and took the flag away.

He argued, “My clothes are of Pakistani color,” showing how upset he was with the situation. At the moment, Bashir lives in the United States. He came to Hyderabad to greet the Men in Green. Bashir said, “I’ve come here to cheer up the Pakistan cricket team.” “The Pakistani team will eat some tasty food in Hyderabad.” According to him, he would go to every place where Pakistan played to cheer them on. The Pakistani team was driven to their hotel in 20 high-security trucks called protocol security cars. At 3:20 a.m. today, the national team left from Lahore airport.

They stopped for a short time in Dubai before taking a trip to Hyderabad, India. Pakistan’s traveling team was made up of 18 players and 13 support staff. Pakistan’s first warm-up game will be on September 29 in Hyderabad against New Zealand. This is less than 48 hours after they arrived in India. Also, their last warm-up game will be on October 3 against Australia. Three days later, on October 6, they will play their first World Cup game against the Netherlands at the same field.
