The semi-finals will be held in Mumbai and Kolkata, respectively. The first will take place on November 15 (Thursday) at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, while the second will take place on November 16 (Friday) at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.With South Africa and Australia almost guaranteed to finish second and third in the points table, respectively, the lineup for one of the semi-finals is set. The fourth qualifying team will determine whether they play the first semi-final in Mumbai or the second in Kolkata.
If Pakistan qualifies as the fourth team, they will meet India in the second semi-final on November 16 in Kolkata. If either New Zealand or Afghanistan qualify, they will meet India in the first semi-final on November 15 in Mumbai.
The final will then be held on November 19 (Sunday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
