World Cup 2022 | Fixtures, Dates, VenuesÂ
The first match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 will take place on November 20. The opening match will be contested at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, with Qatar taking against Ecuador. The 32 teams in the event have been divided into eight groups, with only the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The whole tournament schedule is available in the list below. All starting times are in Qatari time, which is three hours ahead of GMT.
