West Indies women’s team defeated Pakistan by a margin of 45 runs. In the match being played at Karachi National Cricket Stadium, West Indian opener Dentra Dutton played an innings of 132 runs off 146 balls, besides Haley Mathews remained prominent by scoring 57 runs. West Indies scored 253 runs in the stipulated 50 overs and gave Pakistan a target of 254 runs.
West Indies Defeated Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team
In pursuit of the target, the openers of the national women’s cricket team remained a picture of failure, Sadra Amin fell victim to the salesman by scoring just 2 runs. Muneeb Ali 28, Ayesha Zafar 17, Kainat Imtiaz 24 runs scored. Iram Javed and Alia Riaz played resistance innings against West Indies bowlers and both scored 40 and 46 runs respectively. Captain Sadra Nawaz remained prominent by scoring 23 runs.
For West Indies women’s team, Mathews took 3 wickets. Shakira Sellman took 2 wickets while Anisa Muhammad and Qayana Joseph took one wicket each. The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies women’s teams will be played on November 8, 11, and 14. The venue will be the same for three matches.
