Before the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup, two important players of the Pakistan cricket team fell victim to fever and cold. According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik did not participate in the training session due to fever and cold while both the players have also undergone the Covid-19 test whose reports have come to light.
Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali May Replace Shoaib and Rizwan
If reports are to be believed, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali might replace Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Rizwan in Pakistan’s playing 11 for the crucial semi-final against Australia on Wednesday. Pakistan has remained undefeated in the Super 12 stage of the tournament, where they beat India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Namibia, and Scotland. Australia on the other hand lost a solitary match against England. Pakistan will play tomorrow’s game on the back of a splendid record of 16 consecutive wins on UAE soil. Australia, on the other hand, has never lost against Pakistan in an ICC tournament knock-out match.
According to the PCB spokesperson, the doctor has advised both of them to rest. Both the players will be checked up tomorrow. We hope they get better before the match and win the finals with an amazing performance.
