Reports say that Shaheen Shah Afridi may not be able to play in the second Test of Pakistan’s upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka in Galle because he hurt his leg. A team member told on the fourth day of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle that Shaheen was worried about his health. On Wednesday, a team spokesperson said that the left-arm quick’s leg was checked out with an MRI.
Insiders say that Shaheen may have torn a muscle under his knee. Even so, he hurt himself a little. They said that the team’s management would meet with the head of the national team’s medical board to talk about Shaheen’s MRI results. After that, they would make a final decision about whether or not he would play in the second Test. So far, Pakistan has won one of the two Tests in this series, and the second one will be played on July 24.
