Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will coach one team in Pakistan’s Champions Cup, a major local cricket competition. The first PCB Domestic Cricket Season 2024–25 match will be played at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium from September 12–29. Men’s senior cricket returns to Faisalabad after nearly two years. March 2022 saw the last local 50-over contest. The nation’s best cricketers can compete.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi welcomed these notable cricketers and stressed their importance to Pakistani cricket. “I am pleased to welcome five exceptional champions as mentors for the Champions Cup teams,” stated. He claimed mentors’ expertise, experience, and passion of the game will find and develop talent in all games. Naqvi stated that this program is part of a larger goal to develop Pakistan’s cricket system and let its best players play globally.
