Sajid Sadpara summits Nepal peak

Mount Manaslu in Nepal is the ninth highest peak in the world, and on Monday afternoon, famous climber Sajid Ali reportedly climbed to the summit without using supplemental oxygen.

Mr. Sadpara’s assignment abroad had begun on September 6. He climbed to the top as part of an expedition called “Mt. Manaslu Expe­dition, 2022,” which was organized by Seven Summit Treks, a Nepalese tour operator.

The son of the late Muhammad Ali Sad­para, Mr. Sadpara has already climbed to the top of three 8,000-meter peaks this year: K2 (8,611m), Gasherbrum-II (8,035m), and Gasherbrum-I (8,035m).

A tweet posted on Mr Sadpara’s official account said: “Alhamdulliah, Sajid has summited Mt Manaslu 8,163m world’s 8th highest mountain without oxygen this afternoon and is first Pakistani to climb to the True Summit. Congratu­la­tions Pakistan.”
