For the eighth time in T20Is, Rizwan and Babar scored 100 runs together, the most of any partnership.Â

After Pakistan needed to score 174 runs in 20 overs, the pair put on 101 runs to help their team win on Thursday. There have been five opening partnerships between Rahul and Rohit where both players scored 100 or more runs. With eight other collaborations lasting 50 years or more, Rizwan and Babar have more such partnerships than any other duo in the world.
During their home T20I against England last month, Rizwan and Babar put up the third-highest T20I opening partnership ever in a winning cause. In the second Twenty20 International in a seven-match series, the captain and wicketkeeper-batter combined for 203 runs, allowing their team to beat England by 10 wickets.
As a batting pair, the openers have combined 1,034 runs in winning T20I chases. Together, they have scored more than 1,000 runs in successful chases than any other duo.
