PCB planned Test match at Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans to bring international cricket to Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Sources say the PCB is preparing to stage an England-Pakistan Test match in Faisalabad in October.
Initial plans were for Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad to host the three-Test series against England. In this idea, Multan Cricket Stadium would host the first Test, Faisalabad the second, and Rawalpindi the third.
Faisalabad is hosting the Champions One Day Cup to prepare for international and PSL matches. Faisalabad cricket fans’ interest during the Champions One Day Cup will determine whether to hold Test matches there.
