Pakistani juvenile teams reach Norway Cup semis
Pakistani youth teams Better Future U15 and Muslim Hands FC U17 reached the Norway Cup 2024 semi-finals. Pakistan Street Child Football Team beat JSG Leintal 3-2 in a thrilling battle. A late goal won the match for the Green Shirts. Mohammad Kashif scored twice and Mohammad Junaid once as the Pakistani community in Norway celebrated the triumph. The U17 team will play Forde IL from Norway in the first semi-final later today.
Better Future Pakistan’s U15 squad defeated Norway’s Forde IL 1 3-0 in the quarterfinals to go to the semifinals. Pakistan qualified for the semis with two goals from Subhan Karim and one from Shahbaz Ali. The U15 semi-final will be against Norway’s Varegg Fotball 1 later today. Muslim Hands FC lost the Norway Cup 2023 final to Sola FK on penalties 10-9. They won every game in the tournament by large margins. Pakistan scored 28 goals in Norway Cup 2023 and conceded only three, proving they can win matches with a high score.
